Abstract

This research aimed at determining the level of personal financial attitude of the students at the College of Business Management and Accountancy. It used a descriptive – comparative method of research. The data were gathered and analyzed through a survey questionnaire distributed to 320 respondents.

It was revealed that female students tend to be more conscious about their financial action compare to male students. Female students have outweighed male student in terms of financial attitude in all aspects.

The parametric test of independent sample t-test reveals that there is a significant difference between male and female financial attitude.

With the use of non-parametric test using Mann-Whitney U test, the result reveals that there is a significant difference between male and female financial attitude among students.
