This paper aimed to determine the best indicator of job satisfaction of CBMA faculty members in ESSU–Main. This study is a descriptive survey involving 31 faculty members.
Of all the considered indicators in the study, compensation seems to be a good indicator for job satisfaction.
It was revealed that compensation has the lowest mean response with 3.31 compared to other variables. However, it has also the most varied responses from faculty members as indicated by its standard deviation of 1.02. This only explains the importance of money or pay especially after the devastation of typhoon Ruby and Yolanda.
Faculty members enjoy working in CBMA, ESSU because of the good work relationship among colleagues. A sense of being part of a professional family was established. However, they expressed their need for administrative support in terms of facilities like additional classrooms, computer units, internet connection, adequate office supplies, and a well-ventilated office and classrooms.
